It's exactly what it says on the tin: an action-packed sci-fi horror movie full of shooting and shouting. It's not particularly original with its plot, characters, or use of snappy one-liners, but as long as you're not expecting something new and innovative, it's an entertaining watch. The Resident Evil franchise (both movies and games) is iconic, so it's worth giving this movie a go and seeing if you want to continue with the series. You probably won't be amazed, but you probably won't be disappointed.

Good. But I feel that sugar is lacking. I can't explain why. I just know that Milla Jovovich is responsible for me not knowing where the blame lies. She managed to blind anyone who likes the Resident Evil

The only tolerable Resident Evil live action movie. The rest are Mortal Kombat Annhilation grade awful at best. If you don't like the new character Alice you will want to see the rest of.the live action flicks burned at the stake.
