Picking up after Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. The movie was awful. That's actually par for the course with the Resident Evil movies. They're over the top and have lots of moments that make you go, "Seriously?!" However, this movie took the standard Resident Evil level of awful, turned it all the way up to 11, and then kicked common sense and rationality off a cliff while yelling, "THIS IS RESIDENT EVIL!" All in all, it was good to have an ending and I don't regret renting it, but I don't think I'll ever watch it again. Parts of it were delightfully awful, but most of it was just bad.

Meh let me say this. I grew up playing the video games. Eve since the first RE. Seen all the movies and played all the games. That being said I found myself trying not to fall asleep during this movie. I really wanted to like it. But I just couldn't. This is not a good movie. It's just not. Maybe they should retire the franchise. Even the games these days don't have that spooky feeling like they used too and that makes me sad. Very sad......

Don't waste your money, this movie is horribly edited - most scenes are shot at 1 second intervals back and forth. It's enough to give you a headache and leave you confused about what just happened. On top of that they completely​ discard the first 2 movies storyline about how the virus came into affect and numerous other contingencies.
