RESTORED ME is a comedic drama for an audience looking to be uplifted. With a shaken faith over his wrongful drug conviction, 27 year-old Julio Velasquez emerges from prison. He rejoins his girlfriend Monica and their daughter Lia, eager to be a father again. His best friend Chris scores him a job at a local movie theater, where Julio meets employees as entertaining as the movies themselves. Despite his blessings, Julio remains angry over the past. A fateful visit from his old basketball coach turned pastor, sets him on a course toward peace. As Julio takes pride in his work, strengthens his family, laughs with his new friends, reclaims his faith, and cares for the storied old movie house, he discovers the theater he loves is not what it seems. Still on parole, Julio finds himself trapped in a criminal lifestyle under corrupt theater magnate Roger Escalante.
