Acerca de esta película

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and OmniCorp -- the world's leader in robot technology -- sees a golden opportunity to reap billions for their company.  When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) -- a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit -- is critically injured, OmniCorp grabs their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer.  OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and will stop at nothing -- no matter the cost to Alex -- to make sure the program succeeds.  But OmniCorp never counted on one thing: there is still a man fighting inside the machine.

The films was enjoyable, but the HD was ONLY 480p. This was very disappointing after paying extra for HD. I am pretty sure iTunes rents the full 1080p HD version. Be careful with HD on Google Play. I'm just saying. BTW - I was watching on my MacBoom Pro which is more than capable of full HD. Oh, and the political overtones on the use of "drones" was obvious and calculated.

Watching it 5 years later, I see many plot holes as well as many ethical and moral dilemmas with this movie. But Joel Kinnaman, is a dish and looked so bad-ass, I could overlook it. The story is still interesting. And I would watch it again and again. Wish they had developed the story a little more. It felt rushed the first time I watched it 5 years ago and still does now.

This movie is really cool with a lot of nice action and story. The characters are intense. One of the coolest things is they made a newer, cooler, RoboCop for the younger generations. And instead of the classic blueish/teal, they made him all black, which I thought was a nice touch and a good idea if you're going to appeal an older fan favorite movie hero to younger people. I'm almost 25 and I still thought it was cool lol
