I had to leave a positive review after seeing a one star rating. I honestly can't believe someone doesn't see the many aspects that makes Rosemary's Baby and instant classic. This film features an amazing script, sets, acting and the pacing is perfect. Very few films can slowly create a world of fear and paranoia. This is proof that jump scares and violent deaths don't compare to a simple sense of dread. Don't let a sour person ruin a masterpiece. Don't rent it, buy it.

I've seen this numerous times over the years, it came out when I was a kid, good thing my parents wouldn't take me!! Mia Farrow's best role, IMO. John Cassavetes is believably suave, yet creepy, as the husband, and Ruth Gordon nails it, she is too funny, even as a "witch." You really feel Rosemary being trapped, no one believing her....Roman Polanski is a wonderful director. (Just put aside his personal problems....)

I absolutely love..love this movie! As a kid, it was just scary; especially if you are religious. I will admit, it wasn't that scary, now that I'm an adult, but the musical score intensifies the suspense or say that creepy, nervous, chilling, electrical feeling in your body. However, this movie is and always will be a G.O.A.T!
