Sanjay is absorbed in the world of cartoons and comics, while his father tries to draw him into the traditions of his Hindu practice. Tedium and reluctance quickly turn into an awe-inspiring adventure as the boy embarks on a journey he never imagined, returning with a new perspective they can both embrace.

I love this. I think there are young South Asian/Indian American folks who relate to Sanjay. He wants to be An All-American boy,but his Dad wants him to keep the traditions of the motherland alive in their adopted nation.

This was SO awesome! Loved it. Boys very much love their toys. The film was short but incredibly endearing. The special effects were magical. Touched my heart. Makes you want to pick up your kids and annoy them with the biggest hugs.
