The Many Saints of Newark es la esperada precuela de la famosa y premiada serie dramática de HBO, Los Soprano. El joven Anthony Soprano crece en la tumultuosa era de los disturbios de Newark, y se convierte en hombre mientras gánsteres rivales comienzan a hacerse importantes y a desafiar el control que la poderosa familia DiMeo mantiene sobre la ciudad, desgarrada por el racismo. Atrapado en estos años de cambios se encuentra el tío que él idolatra, Dickie Moltisanti, quien lucha para administrar sus responsabilidades tanto profesionales como personales, y cuya influencia sobre el sobrino lo ayudará a convertir al crédulo adolescente en el todopoderoso jefe mafioso que luego conoceremos, Tony Soprano.

The single worst movie experience I have ever had. It was a horrible mess of a story. It has made me lose faith in cinema. The show references were utter garbage and just shallow. I remember my mother used to beat me with a spoon and I would rather go back to that than to watch this piece of trash again.

I think the movie was fantastic... Sometimes fans build things up way too much in their minds.....and they let themselves down even before they see the movie...without an open mind, and pretend to watch something else that you have no knowledge about... Then u can have respect for the picture

I hate giving such a low rating but wow. That is time I'll never get back. I watched as a huge "Sopranos" fan, but with so much time between the end of that series and this prequel I tempered my expectations.
