Based on Jane Austen's classic novel, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY tells of the Dashwood sisters, sensible Elinor (Thompson) and passionate Marianne (Winslet), whose chances at marriage seem doomed by their family's sudden loss of fortune. While I absolutely adore Pride & Prejudice (the 2005, don't come for me), this movie has a special place in my heart that P&P simply cannot fill. Starting with the star studded leading actors depictions of Austen's characters to the superb writing of Emma Thompson, this movie simply has it all. I know most won't agree with me that it is better than P&P, but it definitely does a great job of transporting the audience into the story in a clear imaginative way, worth the watch.

Absolute "Class" way to learn about C 'est la vie.

I love this movie I have watched it over and again it is one of my favorite movies of all time!!
