Acerca de esta película

Happily ever after never seemed so far far away when a trip to meet the in-laws turns into a hilariously twisted adventure for Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz). With the help of his faithful Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Shrek takes on a potion-brewing Fairy Godmother, the pompous Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), and the ogre-killer, Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) who's a pussycat at heart.

It's a pretty decent sequel. The storyline builds on the first film nicely, the Fairy Godmother is an interesting villain, Puss in Boots adds to the dynamic between Shrek and Donkey, and some of the gags have held up after repeated watches (I personally love the "Cops" aka "Knights" segment). I'm not the biggest fan of the Shrek series, but I'd watch the first two films without hesitation if someone suggested it so it can't be too bad.

This has opened my eyes to the world of religion.I pray to shrek every night before bed and in the morning, for I know that he,shrek has blessed me with life.I have converted many of my family and friends into this faith, and I shall spread the holy words,"what are you doing in my swamp." Through the land until shrek will carry me with him into everlasting life. This religious text shall be spread through the world, people will pray to shrek every night and day.Shrek is love,Shrek is life.

This movie is unironically one of the greatest sequels in all of cinema. The song choices are some of the best fits I've seen in a movie, perfectly outlining the feelings of the characters that they do such a good job of getting you to care about. Every choice seems to have true weight, which is a rare commodity in the Disney-ridden movie world of today. It's not perfect, but if Shrek wants you to learn one thing, it's that you don't have to be.
