SHUT IN is a heart-pounding thriller starring Naomi Watts as a widowed child psychologist who lives an isolated existence in rural New England. When a young boy Mary (Watts) is treating goes missing, and is presumed dead, she becomes convinced that his ghost is haunting her and her bedridden son.

Why does no one in this damn movie know how to shut a door?!?!? There's an ice storm going on outside, yet everyone acts like it's 70 degrees. Hypothermia is a thing. Also, Naomi Watts needs driving lessons. That end scene is horrendous.

Getting near 2 and a half. Charlie Heaton does a great job being catatonic and there is good Shining nods in it but in the end Shut In is dull.

Nice new concept thriller. Great acting. Not any scares but a little suspense.
