Bruce Willis stars as a cop with a bum ticker and a vow to protect a sexy stripper (Jessica Alba); Mickey Rourke as an outcast misanthrope on a mission to avenge the death of his one true love (Jaime King); and Clive Owen as Dwight, the clandestine love of Shellie (Brittany Murphy), who spends his night defending Gail (Rosario Dawson) and her Old Town girls (Devon Aoki and Alexis Bledel) from a tough guy (Benicio Del Toro) with a penchant for violence.

Better than the original cut. I like how the books are seperated into 4 films instead of bouncing back and forth between stories. The Hard Goodbye is my favorite book in the series and favorite movie in this cut. I love how Robert and Frank bring the look and feel of the comic book to the screen.

Don't think of this as a comic book movie, you should think of it as a film noir. Dark, witty, takes itself too seriously - Great performances, over the top action scenes, and an amazing visual asthetic make this a must watch. One of the best film noir of the generation.

What I got to watch was good but man did all the long end credits kill it for me.
