El mundo necesitaba un héroe y apareció un erizo. Dotado de una velocidad increíble, Sonic el erizo, también conocido como Mancha Azul, acepta su nuevo hogar en la Tierra. Un día, accidentalmente, inutiliza la red eléctrica y llama la atención del poco moderno y malvado genio Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey). Ahora es el supervillano contra el supersónico en una carrera de órdago por el planeta para impedir que Robotnik utilice su poder singular para dominar el mundo. Sonic se alía con el Señor de los Dónuts, el Sheriff Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), para salvar el planeta en esta comedia de aventuras en imagen real que encantará a toda la familia.

The Movie is actually better then you say it is. It showed Sonic's back story even their were other back stories but this one was emotional, After fixing the animation they really came through and perfected the design, his personality, and showed some new things that was really cool like using Rings for teleportation. Also Jim Carrey as Dr. Robonic or Eggman was cool and Funny. I feel like since I'm a Sonic fan, they respected this movie by improving Sonic in Live Action from Smash bros. COOL👍

First off, that redesign was a huge relief and made this movie much more appealing that the initial announcement trailer. That being said, what I think makes this movie work is that it has something in it for just about everyone. The story is simple and easy to follow. There is plenty of cool action scenes as well as funny moments as well. Ben Swartz and Jim Carrey nailed their roles. This is definitely one of the better video game based films, and a perfect choice for any event.

Probably the best video game movie ever. When the first trailer was released, I thought it would suck. On opening day I speeded to my theater and watched it... I wore blue to the movie and I loved it. To make things better, they added in way too many references to Sonic game. But that's a good thing. Overall, give it a watch. It's overall a excellent experience and it's guaranteed to make you laugh. 10/10
