Anybody who likes this movie has no clue how venom is REALLY supposed to be. He's supposed to be BIG, BAD ASS, and TERRRRRRIFYING. This makes him a skinny little twerp, with cheesey lines & TERRIBLE acting. This whole trilogy sucks. The only two things they ever got right were Doc Oc and Sandman....otherwise, BURN IT. Give me Tom Holland and Iron Man. THAT is a Spidey flick!!!!

Real let down. Spiderman's random issues were dumb, love stops his mutation, and vemon makes him a Gothic nerd.. Still think the astronaut from the first one, Mary runs from the wedding, son of newspaper man, should have been venom, plot would have been better. Maybe should have given Spiderman just a villain to deal with instead of personality disorders. Sandman side story was cheesy, just be a crook. And the son of Osborne could have been Hob goblin.

While the Editor's Cut is bit better, I've also learned to appreciate Spider-Man 3 for what it was at the time when it was released. I still think that the movie's biggest problem is that Venom was not supposed to be in here to begin with. And the fact that Sony shoehorned him in and would use the character as a marketing stunt to promote the film is crazy. Even if he's going to be in here, they should've dedicated more of their time with the actual story and have him potrayed correctly.
