I couldn't even finish this. Chris Rock as a police detective was deplorable. Especially as controversial as he seems to be in the comedy realm. The Saw series is a classic redemption story that got me through my college career. It made me bump into people less, ask more questions, be safer in dark areas, stop prying where I am unwanted, do my research, stand tall for what is right, be a greater voice in a cacophony of mistruths and redirected energies. THIS DID NONE OF THAT. I think to revive it, means that it should take on a greater responsibility than it did. I'm sorry this movie should go straight to the $5 Wal-mart Movie bin.

Tenía muchas expectativas puestas en esta película y digo que quedé satisfecho. Si eres fanático de Saw, es posible que no te guste esta película, ya que es fácil de entender. Quiero decir, a la mitad ya sabía quién era el asesino. Sin embargo, me gusta Chris Rock en esta película ya que su comedia agregó un punto de realización para un personaje con mucho drama. Por sí solo necesita trabajo, pero puedo ver que es una buena configuración para otra película. Al mismo tiempo, no parece una película hecha para hacer otra película. Algo así como Batman vs. Superman fue creado para hacer Justice League o Terminator Dark Fate fue para una película que probablemente no existirá. Diría que lo pruebe, pero lo veo gratis en un viaje sencillo, así que haga lo que quiera con su dinero.

I liked it and I feel the movie definitely lived up to the saw name with a huge twist that had me thinking it was the wrong person so I was certainly fooled as to who the actual killer was in the end. To truly enjoy this movie you must be a legitimate Saw Movie Fan, if anything else then you're definitely not it and will probably go on claiming how horrible it is when that's actually not the case and the movie is actually really bloody fantastic in reality. I believe a lot of movie fanatics get complacent and therefore start to nitpick every aspect of a movie when they find or see something wrong and that's just wrong on every level, you're forgetting the whole point and idea of it which is to enjoy someone's art and someone's tall tale visually. The real one reason this movie falls a little short is because the saw voice for Spiral was definitely terrible, felt last minute, and didn't make much sense, kinda ruining the movie a bit dragging you out of the story that is supposed to draw you in but at the end of the day it's still another movie and that''s what they chose to go with so it was tolerable. I think it would have been better if they retained the original or tweaked it somewhat to live on with the actual Saw Legacy moreso as such. It just really doesn't go with the movie as good in my opinion. I loved all of the saw movies and I feel this strongly makes a good addition to the series and as I've said before I would watch 10 more saw movies without a hitch and I'm very sure each and everyone of them in my own opinion will be amazing. Overall it had a really good plot, good scenes, good audio, so hating on it for being somewhat different is extremely wrong and biased and you'd definitely be missing out on a great horror movie. The Saw Series is really something special!
