Watch the seeds of Anakin Skywalker's transformation take root in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. Ten years after the invasion of Naboo, the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of a renegade Jedi named Count Dooku, thousands of solar systems threaten to break away from the Galactic Republic. When an assassination attempt is made on Senator Padmé Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, twenty-year-old Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect her. In the course of his mission, Anakin discovers his love for Padmé as well as his own darker side. Soon, Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan Kenobi are drawn into the heart of the Separatist movement and the beginning of the Clone Wars.

Calificaciones y opiniones

If you take out all the scenes with Padme and Anakin, this movie isn't all that bad. Obi-Wan is a ton of fun, and even seeing the Jedi walk around is mildly entertaining. Thank goodness Christopher Lee is in this movie though, since he gives the most believable performance, whether because he was given the best lines or he just delivers them better than most. It't still not a good movie, and a bad Star Wars movie, but it isn't terrible either.

If you thought things couldn't get worse than The Phantom Menace you were sorely mistaken. From the bad CGI to the unwatchable love scenes, this is definitely the absolute worst Star Wars film. The first hour and a half is just boring exposition that makes you feel sleepy and the rest is just CGI filled garbage that is not entertaining whatsoever. If you are new to Star Wars let me give you some good advice, skip Attack of the Clones. Revenge of the Sith is a much better way to spend two hours of your time.

Same awful characterizations and pacing, but the love story is the worst offender. No chemistry between the actors and it contains some of the most cringe worthy dialouge in recent movie memory. And the look and feel of the sets don't help, as all the poor green screen seem to create a dissattachment between the actors and their performances. Ewan McGregor gives it his all though. Possibly the worst Star Wars movie.
