In this mind-bending psychological thriller, college student Henry Lethem (Ryan Gosling) plans to kill himself in three days, unless psychologist Sam Foster (Ewan McGregor) can save him. But after his first encounter with the disturbed young man, Sam finds he's losing his own grip on reality, as he too is thrust into a nightmarish place between life and death. With the help of his girlfriend (Naomi Watts), Sam races to unlock the dark secrets of Henry's tortured psyche in this suspenseful chiller that will keep you guessing right up to the shocking ending!

1 of my top 3 movies, you really should give it a try. Be aware though, the trailer makes it feel like it's a bit of an action flick and it's not. it's an amazing psychological journey.

This is my favorite movie, however the trailer is definitely deceiving. It's a psychological experience, not an action ghost story. It really makes you take a second to think about things, and empathize with troubled Henry.

This has been one of my favorite movies for years. It's one of the very few I have in my special collection and am able to watch countless times. Heartbreaking, subtle, poignant, thought provoking. 10/10 in my book.
