So botched Silent Hill refferences aside this isn't terrible the shots are well composed. The story line moves at a fast clip, and the characters frankly don't act like generic cookie cutter horror characters. All of them had depth and are all smart. They feel like real people. They just happen to be so unlucky as to face something beyond the typical. The CGI is okay for the time. It was the last film shot in New Orleans before Katrina... and really has some very nice shots of the city, and the county side. It really fits together well. Its not great... but it really isn't terrible.

This was my FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE in 8th grade and I forgot it even existed until now. Watching the trailer I'm laughing my ass off because it seems vanilla to the horrible horror flicks we have now.

When I first seen this movie I didn't play any legit games, I stayed with kiddie games for a while just to make sure I wasn't cursed or hexed
