"Stripped" is a feature-length documentary on comic strips, how they're created, and the people behind them - featuring the first-ever recorded interview with Bill Watterson of Calvin & Hobbes. The film sits down with over 60 of the world's best cartoonists to talk about comic strips, where the art form's going, and what happens to it as newspapers die and digital takes off. Featured interviews include: Cathy Guisewite (Cathy), Lynn Johnston (For Better or For Worse), Mort Walker (Beetle Bailey), Mike & Jerry (Penny Arcade), Matt Inman (The Oatmeal), Kate Beaton (Hark! A Vagrant) and Patrick McDonnell (Mutts). Set to original music by Stefan Lessard of Dave Matthews Band, the film is a must-see for comics fans.

I had the opportunity to back this film on Kickstarter, and it was money well spent. These guys started out putting together a documentary about a dying industry and discovered that it's, in fact, not dying, but has a rich history where it always finds a way to thrive. It's wonderful, and worth the buy.

It ain't over. It's just headed down a different road. This movie is done a disservice if you categorize it as a documentary. Even if you aren't one of those crazy comics creators, you'll laugh yourself silly as you are taken through the history of comics, newspaper syndication, the downturn of print, and the web as the new strip's page. D..., it's just belly aching funny!! Oh, excuse me, I got a cry...oh, no, I mean laugh...Excuse me while I go watch it for the 10th time.

Watched it last night and was very happy I bought it. I am already looking forward to watching it again. Great work guys!
