Acerca de esta película

On January 15, 2009, the world witnessed the “Miracle on the Hudson” when Captain “Sully” Sullenberger (Hanks) glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career.

Passable. Watching Tom Hanks is a pleasure, and Aaron Eckhart is good. But the film is shallow, and the script loaded with platitudes and self-aggrandizing ("loosing two engines at a lower altitude than any jet has ever lost them", I doubt anyone fact checked that). I say none of to minimize the miracle that happened that January 15. But the movie is just OK.

Everything is made into a movie now a days. Even before the subject has had time to breathe(zero dark thirty,9/11,13 hours, deep water horizon, Patriots day) is being converted to script. No one cares about making a quality film it all hinges on weather or not the subject is marketable.

I really liked how well they re-enacted the landing. The CGI was very well done, and I felt it was very accurate and not the typical unrealistic physics you see in CGI on most TV shows. It was a very good story, and I'm glad that they explained how it panned out. I am subtracting a star for the movie dragging - it has a lot of repetition and I felt like they were just trying to drag it out to make it longer, which is never good. Overall, great movie, and would recommend.
