this is a great movie but google is getting 1 star for the unforgivable decision to release it without the original japanese.version Always. Have. Subtitles. Why must I endure the english voice actors for something like this. They never capture the tenor of their japanese counterparts. I can't imagine that including the original japanese voice acting and leaving english subtitles can be some insane burden either. you're already selling me this for $20. Why can't you just keep the original?

Everyone keeps comparing this to Makoto Shinkai's most popular movie "Your Name." I've seen SO many comments/reviews saying things like "This movie is good but Your name. is better", or "When compared to Your name...." Can we stop comparing this movie to anything, please? This movie is perfectly fine. Is it perfect? No. Is any movie perfect? No. I enjoyed this movie. I love the concept of metaphorically and literally closing doors. Another great film by Makoto Shinkai.
