Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon star in this side splitting comedy.

Tammy (McCarthy) is having a bad day. She's totaled her clunker car, gotten fired from her thankless job at a greasy burger joint, and instead of finding comfort at home, finds her husband getting comfortable with the neighbor in her own house.

It's time to take her boom box and book it. The bad news is she's broke and without wheels. The worse news is her grandma, Pearl (Sarandon), is her only option-with a car, cash, and an itch to see Niagara Falls. Not exactly the escape Tammy had in mind. But on the road, with grandma riding shot gun, it may be just what Tammy needs.

The premise itself was already boring, but my wife wanted to see it, so we rented it. Just like I thought, it was boring and it wasn't even chuckle-worthy, which I half expected considering I think Melissa McCarthy is a very funny actress. I expected at least one laugh, but no. Guess its hard to make "road trip with grandma for no reason" funny, even if you're a generally hilarious person. Don't waste your money or time.

This is why America can't have nice things... They spend millions on trashy fat jokes and call it "comedy". If you saw this and laughed through it there's no saving you anyway... Also, anyone giving Melissa McCarthy work needs to go to a North Korean prison camp for Crimes against Humanity.

I'm sorry this movie really is horrible it has a storyline that's why I gave it 2 stars I get what the .movies about but its just not funny really boring I like Melissa McCarthys movies she always funny but in this movie she really didnt do her best work I think. Could of been funnier just a very lazy movie not worth the money they are asking for $15 no way its a rip off really........I need a.refund I didn't realize I bought it thought I rented it when I went to.see again how much the movie was I freaked
