The new ninja turtles reboot was alright, kinda wish they didn't disclude Casey Jones, instead April's camera man replaced him... They turned the story around instead of splinter getting nabbed the turtles do... At least Mikey was still entertaining... If you want to watch tmnt stick with the old 90's movies and TV cartons... Faaar better then this mediocre crap... I'll have to agree with most people, why is every franchise reboot idiotic? Their is no creativity to movies anymore like their once was... It's all retarded not funny as all of you think just stupid

I tried to keep an open mind about this movie- it's michael Bay, it's going to be more about action than story. I lowered my expectations as much as possible but was still let down. This the worst movie of 2014, hands down. The writing was lazy, making up weak connections between characters to avoid actually having to create a story. Also - slight spoiler alert- splinter taught himself ninjutsu from a book he found in the sewer, are you kidding me? Avoid this at all costs.

Grew up with TMNT - had the comic books by Eastman and Laird, the toys, etc... This movie was awful. The camera moving in a whooshing circular pattern for almost every shot got old after 10 minutes and the bright light in the background of every shot was horribly annoying. Turn the sound off and you might be able to watch it. If you're a Michael Bay fan, just save some bucks and rent The Rock instead.
