The iconic 'Grey Gardens' prequel movie is a must for all fans. If you don't know the history of the original movie you may wonder - a lot. The story of Little and Big Edie just tugs at my heart. Loving and strained mother daughter relationship. Mental illness and dysfunction. I have such an affinity for Little Edie. All of us can no doubt relate to life disappointments and dreams never realized. Just goes to show that life isn't perfect, tidy, black and white, no matter what part of society you belong to. Watch the original, the Hollywood remake, and this film for the whole heart-wrenching story.

I didn't know anything about Grey Garden's. Having said that, I was flipping through channel's one day trying to find something to watch, and I saw a movie with Jessica Lange was gonna start 5 mins later and shes one of my favorite actors especially AHS Asylum!!!! So naturally I watched the movie Grey Gardens and found out that it was based on a true story. So I then rented the original Documentry and my heart went out to them!! I was so excited to hear about the extra footage
