During the Civil War, a wounded Union soldier is sheltered by the headmistress and students of a girls' academy in the South. Themes of true female nature, and feminism, laid "bare" is as current NOW, as then! The real "ENEMY" IS female nature - same thing could have happened IF Clint was a Confederate soldier! These crazy women would have still kept him as their "prisoner!"

As always Mr. Clint Eastwood delivers, in my opinion he is one of the greatest actors, writers, and producers in the entertainment business. This movie had everything action, romance and sapience. I will be watching it again and recommending it to my friends.
