Información de esta película

Activists and journalists explain how the 2008 financial crisis, the Wall Street bailout, the Occupy Movement, and the ascension of politicians like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have pushed a new generation to embrace the language of socialism. THE BIG SCARY "S" WORD shows that, contrary to popular belief, socialism is in fact deeply American.

Comprehensive, accessible, and engaging. Features interviews with left-wing thinkers, activists, and politicians. Covers socialist history and contemporary radical organizing, e.g. the 2018 teachers' strike in Oklahoma. Both experienced socialists and those new to progressive politics will learn something from this film.

Socialism is NOT an American anything. Our founders knew it and so does every true American. The filthy communists in socialist clothing are anything but truthful. This is yet another pile of lies in an attempt to further infect the US with communism. You'll never win!

This is informative documentary things I never knew like 'America The Beautiful' written by a socialist but after looking into Katharine Lee Bates she was also a feminist and a lesbian. And The Pledge of Allegiance written by a socialist. A bit of American history about socialism. I question the two one star reviews did they even watch this film? Because I don't think they ever did and should be discredited. Socialism is as American as apple pie and there is more work that needs to be done!
