Max Simkin has had enough of working in his little New York shoe repair shop where he quietly envies people with more interesting lives. So when he discovers an old family heirloom with the magical ability to change his appearance and transform into any of his customers, the temptation is too good to pass up. However, his new-found ability to become someone else proves to be as troublesome as it is fun. When a ruthless real estate developer tries to take over his neighborhood, Max uses his gift to become the hero he always hoped he could be. Featuring an all-star cast including Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Cliff “Method Man” Smith and Ellen Barkin, THE COBBLER proves that sometimes you have to walk in another man’s shoes to discover who you really are.

Aside from nooott reeaally being a comedy so-much-so and a couple of overly-cliché lines here and theres, this was a fantastic movie. Laughing, rying, surprised, everything ends in a great way and the idea/concept of the movie is beautiful! I can't believe I never thought of making a film like this before! This was a funny, exceptional movie with lots of twists and turns, and I would have rated it higher had it not been for the incredibly irritating character portrayal by Melonie Diaz. Her over-practiced delivery of every line took the movie from "Adam Sandler classic" down to high school stage production. Still, worth the watch while it's on Netflix.

SPOILERS 👞👠👢👡👟 Pathetic, spoiled rotten story stinks. Can't believe Dustin Hoffman delivers a line that cobblers are the guardians honored to walk in other men's shoes. Huh. They put on shoes and become that person and save the world from????? Hopefully trash like this. Can I give minus ten stars.
