Acerca de esta película

More than two decades after catapulting to stardom with The Princess Bride, an aging actress (Robin Wright, playing a version of herself) decides to take her final job - preserving her digital likeness for a future Hollywood. Through a deal brokered by her loyal, longtime agent (Harvey Keitel) and the head of Miramount Studios (Danny Huston), her alias will be controlled by the studio, and will star in any film they want with no restrictions. In return, she receives healthy compensation so she can care for her ailing son and her digitized character will stay forever young. Twenty years later, under the creative vision of the studio's head animator (Jon Hamm), Wright's digital double rises to immortal stardom. With her contract expiring, she is invited to take part in 'The Congress' convention as she makes her comeback straight into the world of future fantasy cinema.

Enjoyed the usual elements of dystopian future mixed with cool virtual reality. This film started slow, but the acting was excellent and engaging, making the time worth investing. **Small spoiler** Please tell me someone else got that Aaron is the small plane in the sky near the end & Mom just doesn't get that he's flying up there! (Of course later he has moved on to the final state of existence.) Enjoy!

this by far is the dumbest movie i've seen where such a marvelous cast was put together . it ends with us as people drowning in a cess pool of halleucinative drugs in order NOT to deal with the true fact of how miserable we ARE in the future..... save your coins & wait for this to come on t.v. & then don't have anything else to do!!!!!

Eye opening movie to what's coming next. It is amazingly put together, the story line is ballsy and the cartoon part is beautiful! Whoever rated this movie with a low score, is not ready not only for the future but, is not ready for new ideas that provoke thought. Definitely a movie that makes you move those wheels in your head. Watch it and grow as a being!
