I looked over the reviews and seen some unknowledgeable comments. The latest Batman franchise was not based upon the comics, hence not Clayface, The Croc, Mr. Freeze or the boy wonder Robin (as the sidekick). This is because the trilogy was based the the graphic novels where Name did not " get bigger" with his drugs, they dulled all feeling making him a formidable foe. Also the reasoning behind the darker more sadistic Joker rather than the insane alternative from 'revised' comics of today.

But is you notice in the scene in front of I belive the court house he smashes a huge chuck off a stone pillar. The guys on world's strongest man competitions can't do that. Also he is be fed constant massive pain killers. If you can't feel pain, you are pretty unstoppable. A real world "venom"

Rises takes you to where none of the other movies in the saga could take you. The Dark Knight movie was about cat and mouse games and Begins was about finding ones self. Now Rises puts Batman in a challenging scenario where he is out smarted, out powered and last less skilled to fight. I see why he was saved for last because the old movies you seen the other bad guys. Saved the best for last. This last one gives understanding to the first movie with its short sub plots
