Narrated by Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, Star Wars), The Doctor, The Tornado and the Kentucky Kid focuses on the biggest motorcycle race in American history, the 2005 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca, California. While the race itself only lasts an hour, the preparation for such an event takes months. The film documents the trials and tribulations of all involved; the teams, the families, the fans and most importantly the riders.
