Not funny couldn't hear it most of the time thank goodness for close captain the volume went up and down, cut out most of the time..the only thing about this movie that didn't cut out was the songs in the ending credits.

Let's skip making the plot and script and just bring as many hot topics as possible into one movie. Awkward moments, horrible family dynamic and no value to the characters as genuine people.

Love this movie and the many different issues it includes without throwing any one of them in your face; they're subtle. It allows one to see the most important element more clearly: the strong family bond they share. Personally, my deaf kids and I appreciate that it portrays a deaf man as a typical person. He isn't treated "special" or ignored by his family. They don't act like he is different than the hearing family members in any way. I wish everyone understood that this is normal!
