The haunting story of THE GIVER centers on Jonas, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community. The film is based on Lois Lowry’s beloved young adult novel of the same name, which was the winner the 1994 Newbury Medal and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

Que je n'avais pas vu un scénario aussi brillant. Science fiction qui vous amène à vous interroger sur la vie, l'amour, la mort sans pour autant être un film lourd.

In the first place, I was just like bruh it's bullshit but then when you start the movie, you just can't stop and its really change your life forever!! I just live it so much!!!! I'm sure everyone is gonna love it😍😍 I like fall in love with it

Its bad compared to the book. But its pretty well done. A few actors could have been chosen better but the idea is the same.
