While stuck running errands, Maggie still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace's manager (Ice Cube) presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

$20 - understand that this movie was supposed to open in the theaters, which for obvious reasons could not. If you want to support the Entertainment Industry, pay the $20. It really annoys me when reviewers skew ratings for dumb reasons. Now, about the movie - my family (ages 14-60) and I loved it! It was a very kickback, feel good movie with great music. Any music lover would enjoy this movie just for the soundtrack alone. It feels like there was music playing all the time. Tracee and Dakota worked well together. We enjoyed the L.A. scenery, wardrobe, and the whole vibe of the movie. There were surprises to the movie, so it was not entirely predictable. I love Tracee and I feel she stayed true to herself in this movie. Ice Cube's character added dynamic to the movie even though you might end up mad at him. To be honest, I was not ready for this movie to be over. I could have watched another 2 hours. We were all rocking to the music when it ended. I'm up now watching it again and it just came out last night. Cheers to the cast and production team.

My family and I planned a "movie night" which is what we used to do on before the pandemic, and we thought this movie was great! We sat down in front of our big screen TV and enjoyed our dinner with our movie, just like we would have at the local Dine-In theater. The only difference is we only paid $20 rather than paying $20 per person (or more). This was well worth the money, and although we didn't leave our house, it felt like a great night out!

The movie was good and it was positive. What I don't understand is all these mental midgets complaining about $20 when they will go to the movies and spend $100 on tix and snacks. When you walk out of that movie theater, you ain't walking out with a copy you can watch again. You just paid for a one time viewing! With this you can watch in the comfort of your own home, with people you like and eat all the snacks you want...all for $20. Oh and you can watch it again if you missed something.
