In this film adapted from the acclaimed Tony Award-winning play, the Blake family reunites for Thanksgiving dinner in their daughter's New York apartment: parents Erik (Richard Jenkins) and Diedre (Tony Award winner Jayne Houdyshell), daughters Aimee (Amy Schumer) and Brigid (Beanie Feldstein), grandmother Momo (June Squibb), and Brigid's boyfriend Richard (Steven Yeun). Over one evening, as familiar cracks begin to appear, the tight-knit family tries to hold together in the face of an anxious and uncertain future.
