Based on the best-selling book series, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.

Calificaciones y opiniones

If you have read the books then you know they left out a lot of stuff. And the casting was OK. But I think they did a good job with the movie. Just that I would have changed some stuff. So all in all it was pretty good.

TMI book series was amazing, this movie was good because I thought the characters were perfect, but a lot was missing from the books. I heard there might be a tv show so I hope they do a better job at sticking with the story line, keep the characters though, clary and Jace were perfect

The books were great, and yes they left out a lot of stuff I wished the didnt . but the movie was excellent. Great cast members great acting and I hope they are still making the next movie I hear it's supposed to be coming out this year!! :D
