Just watched it and I'm disappointed a bit. I could see this beautiful ending coming and instead it ended abruptly in what is probably considered clever. I loved the acting and the story up to a point but it just needed more. It's worth watching just for Ana de Armas and Ty Sheridan and the other good actors (who didn't get enough of a role). The story is just thin and could of been so much more. It fits the times though with the short attention spans and lack of subtley we have today. Throw in a quick nude scene and a well done performance of what it's like to have Aspergers, some violence, some voyeurism and a quick resolution. No actual depth.

NO SPOILERS HERE Forget the poor ratings, It was pretty good. The ending left you wondering in an ambiguous manner. I would give my thoughts on the ending but I don't want to be a douche and spoil it for everyone else.

Helena Hunt is virtually unrecognizable. That being said, I hate movies that use Autism or Asperger's or Down's syndrome as the primary plot point. This wasn't a message film but it was difficult to watch. If this young man hadn't had this problem, he would have been just plain creepy. And the number of coincidences that we had to believe were over the top. Psychological thriller ? Not so much. Message film about Aspergers? Missed the mark. I don't know how to categorize this. It was agonizing
