Wasn't blown away by any means. Seemed like a combination of several different movies especially Gladiator. No new ideas. Enjoyed Anya Taylor Joys performance as usual but even she couldn't save this film. Giving it 2 stars for a few decent scenes but all in all I'd say skip it. Definitely don't pay $20 to own it! 2/5

I wanted to rent this movie and found out later I ended up paying for it. Nothing of what I thought it would be. I came in watching prepared as if this was going to be like King Arthur. Son grows up comes back for vengeance and makes the world right again by riding a mad man villian. Nope everything shot from the blue no character developments. My wife and I felt awkwardl watching this to the point we returned watching netflix.

I might have expected too much from this movie to get a little disappointed. Loved the timeline, loved the plot, loved the action but hated the acting and some dialogues.... They felt amateur and seemed like they over did it for it to lack the natural feeling and response. Some dialogues were never meant to be said cuz of how childish they felt.... Nonetheless the movie has some beautiful scenes and portrays a real Norse folklore.
