Entertaining, escapist viewing. And thats all the film has to offer unfortunately. Although Billy Zane tries his best, his performance however lacks believability and leaves the Phantom character where it probably should have stayed, in a comic book. Beautiful locations however detract one from abysmal performances across the entire cast.
