Drowning is suddenly not the only problem for the crew of a capsized sailboat along the Great Barrier Reef. Four backpackers have set out for a week cruising the beautiful Great Barrier Reef on their own yacht, but when the boat capsizes leaving them stranded on the overturned hull they must make a simple choice. Stay with the damaged ship, likely to sink at any moment? Or try and swim for dry land? Taking to the water the group starts to close in on land but when a giant fin breaks the surface they are hit with the realisation they are being stalked by a deadly fourteen foot Great White shark. Another sleeper. This Aussie scare fest appeared to start as another B grade Dudes and Babes show but became downright tense and gritty. It kept me on edge and was well put together.

Takes a little while to buikd up but that is a part of the drama. Life seems lovely for these youngsters and then it becomes a sest of the pants thriller, not for them, but for you the audience.

Awesome movie! Great Australian film. Go the Underbelly and McLeods Daughters actors.
