Acerca de esta película

Bruce Lee's The Way of the Dragon is another classic martial arts film featuring the Dragon at the peak of his powers! Bruce Lee is Tang Lung, a Hong Kong expatriate in Italy who gets the opportunity to use his fists when local thugs begin muscling in on the local Chinese restaurant. It's a simple exchange: the thugs set foot in the restaurant, and Tang Lung cuts loose with a flurry of kicks and punches designed to inflict the maximum amount of damage with the minimum amount of effort. Then, more fighting ensues. The Way of the Dragon co-stars popular starlet Nora Miao, and is a true tour-de-force for Bruce Lee. Not only did he star in the film, but he also wrote, produced, and directed it - and this is in addition to his expected action choreography duties. The end product is a wildly entertaining martial arts film that's sure to make kung-fu fans of all ages grin from ear-to-ear. Most famously, The Way of the Dragon features a dramatic showdown between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in the confines of Rome's ancient Colosseum!1993 Star TV Filmed Entertainment & Star TV Filmed Entertainment (HK) Limited. The Way of the Dragon is one of the greatest Kung Fu films I have seen. The film is set in Rome, where a family run a successful Chinese Restaurant and Mafia thugs bully them with the aim oftaking over the business by any means possible. Bruce Lee plays the part of Tang Lung – a Hong Kong Chinese man – sent over to assist the family with their difficulties. The story and script are not the greatest. Cultural stereotypes are emphasised – Italians coupled with crime, Asians as sexually awkward. Concerning the latter point there is a humorous scene early in the film where a beautiful Italian woman takes a liking to Tang at the Spanish steps and she invites him back to her home. She leaves the living room for a moment returning with most of her clothing removed. Tang appears puzzled and confused and leaves her home swiftly in a state of anxiety, the poor woman remaining bereft. The fight scenes in the film are of a very high standard, with Bruce Lee displaying his immense athleticism and power against all odds. The film culminates in a duel to the death at the Colosseum between Lee and Chuck Norris (Colt) – a karate expert brought in to reinforce the criminals. A true classic.
