This hilarious sendup of everyone's favorite guilty pleasure - the romantic-comedy - stars Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler as the most unlikely couple you'll meet outside a Nora Ephron film. Joel (Rudd) is a big-time corporate suit vying to shut down Molly's (Poehler) quirky indie candy shop around the corner ... and to steal her heart. They live happily ever after...until they don't. The concept is great, the cast is perfect but it just didn't work. I go between wondering if it was false look of the sets(I know, intentional) or the pushing the boundary on humor (grandma sex, really?) when you are already pushing the boundaries on concept. Perhaps adding realistic sets and taking away the extremes of Amy Poehler looking into the camera, the dad getting shot, grandma almost sex scene and Paul Rudd's final comment to the camera could have made this joke movie work. Not worth the money.

I don't understand what's going on in this movie. Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd are fantastic in other movies. When you put them together, there is absolutely no chemistry on screen. The writing was bad, the acting was bad, it was all bad. This film took a decidedly bad turn after the opening credits and never turned around. I think moviegoers will be very disappointed.

This was such a treat, 'Upper Sweet Side' kinda treat! I ,personally ,could not of asked for a better cast nor assmbled one if i had tried. Now on top of that its friggin hilarious, to the point where I'm feel compelled to just say 'thank you' to everyone involved in the conception and production of it . Seriously guys THANK YOU! YOU'VE MADE MY DAY! That being said if your reading this just go ahead and watch it you wont be dissapointed. Kk then, as always enjoy, Jeff 'Lovits' ;)
