Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the "fellowship" apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.

Big let down... I knew just from the previews it wasn't going to be all that it could have been.. Tbh, they should have focused more of his time in WW1 and all that Tolkien did throughout. Redo the movie, make it R. Show what times actually were like and again his life.

I'm feeling this movie was a big let down. It's just random scenes of that seem void of any meaning or story. It also lacks provoking any emotion. I don't know if I can blame the director or writers or both.

Come on Google Play & promoters quit being so greetty for dollars… Also give a rent in SD because some of us only have SD devices & noy want pay $5.99 for 4K rental.
