In this brand-new adventure, Tom and Jerry are left homeless after their families move away without them. Alone in the real world, the two friends get advice from a streetwise dog and his wisecracking friend--who's a flea--then team up with an eight-year-old orphan girl. Now chased by the orphan's evil aunt, alley cats, animal catchers and crazy kidnappers Tom and Jerry use all the lovable tomfoolery they know to rescue their new friend in this madcap adventure.

I guess it was a guilty pleasure. Not only it brings me back so much memories since I was a little kid, it also became an alright slapstick cartoon that the predecessor never had conflict before so they can try something new and did at least try to be a Tom and Jerry movie since after the Cold War ended. The story is a hit and miss, the animation looks nice, the characters are used for slapstick and conflict, and the songs are pretty bad. A 6/10 would be nice, I used to have that on DVD.

I personally give it 4 stars because I understand that long time classic Tom & Jerry fans were upset over them talking in this first movie they got, the movie wasn't as bad as people say at all, it's got a very nice and sweet story plot to it. Just because the two furry rivals talked doesn't mean it's a bad movie, the creators just wanted to try something new back then! Also I'm sure the Tom & Jerry fans will love the brand new CGI live action film coming in 2021, and they don't talk like on tv.

This movie has nothing to do with Tom and Jerry. Most of the focus on another character who is kinda selfish. There is barley any of that slapstick comedy that made Tom and Jerry the great cartoon that we all know and love. Don't waste your time and money. Instead go watch the good classic Tom and Jerry not this piece of crap.
