This has to be one of the best Westerns every made along with the Clint Eastwood classics we all know. The acting is top shelf in this particularly from Val Kilmer, the story, tension and action is all so polished and so well put together it produces a masterpiece, it’s that simple. This is easily in my top 5 films without hesitation, which you can watch over and over again. If you haven’t seen this film I suggest you do it really is that good, let’s hope they don’t do a remake if they do it will not be singing off the same hymn sheet as this. Brilliant film, nothing else more to add.

Excellent film version of Wyatt Earp's story. Kurt Russell great as Earp, but Val Kilmer was outstanding as Doc Holiday. Excellent performances from all supporting actors. Much better than the Kevin Costner Wyatt Earp film which was released at the same time.

Outstanding film. Some great performances, but val kilmer as doc holiday stole the show. He shouldn't win the Oscar that year
