After more than thirty years of service as a top naval aviator, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot. Yet, Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past when he returns to TOPGUN to train a group of elite graduates and comes face to face with Lt. Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his former wingman "Goose". Bitter rivalries ignite as the pilots prepare for a specialized mission which will require the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it.

This movie out-performed all my expectation. It's one of those rare films that both honour and improves upon the original. I saw it 3x in the cinema and it was incredible each viewing. I look forward to owning it, when it comes out on 4K Steelbook. My only disappointment is that Google Movies are only releasing this instant classic on Digital HD, when Amazon and other providers are launching in UHD.....might wanna get your licencing ppl on the job Google??? Poor form on your part. Just sayin'

Great movie with footage within the flight deck! So fun to watch and clearly even better than the original. The only major disappointment is with Google not offering this in 4k at the $25 pricing. Apple Itunes release is in 4k Dolby Vision and Atmos with heaps more subtitle languages selling at the same price...

What an epic movie. I’ve seen it twice in the cinema and I am thinking of seeing it again. The real footage inside the F/A-18 fighter jets was phenomenal. They had just the right amount of flight scenes to the ground scenes. I really hope they bring out a third sequel. The best movie I’ve EVER seen. They picked the perfect actor (Miles Teller) to play Gooses son. I cannot recommend this movie enough.
