What happens when you combine the comic genius of Eddie Murphy with Dan Aykroyd and director John Landis? You get a timeless comedy classic laced with sidesplitting, satiric humor. Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this as a kid growing up in the 80s! Not a huge Eddie Murphy fan, but he was great in this movie!

'Best movie in a way, movies are often terrible but they keep making them...no doubt 4 the tax loss. Trading Places is a masterpiece! See it during xmas for full effect...

This movie is timeless. It gets better and better each time I see it. There are not many movies from the 1980's that withstand the test of time. Here is a classic. If you haven't seen it, rent it. If you have seen it, own it.
