A battle of the sexes comedy from writer/director Bart Freundlich (Myth Of Fingerprints). Trust The Man centers on the hilarious escapades of two couples in love...Rebecca a successful actress (Julianne Moore) and her sex obsessed Mr Mum husband Tom (David Duchovny) try to salvage a marriage on the verge of falling apart. While Rebecca's brother Tobey (Billy Crudup) is in a more openly dysfunctional relationship with his aspiring novelist girlfriend (Maggie Gyllenhaal). The film follows these four on their pointed search for love in the midst of their careers, family, infidelity and ever daunting struggle for Manhattan street parking.
