For twelve long years he experienced the cruelty and subjugation that was slavery. Under most circumstances, this would be a story worth telling. Even if I hadn't read the book first, this is one of the worst adaptations from a book I've ever seen. They all spoke like colonial robots. They were in Louisiana for cripes sake. I cannot believe Brad Pitt would put his name on this travesty let alone any actor or director with any reputation.

I loved it better than themovie they brung out 12 years a slave a must see

It was a great movie especially when coupled with 12 years a slave.
