Acerca de esta película

By the year 2024, the depletion of precious natural resources had begun. In the midst of social economic downfall, international inequalities brought forth a violent period of global terrorism, throwing the world into a new era of perpetual war. Twelve of the world's most powerful multinational conglomerates formed an allied agreement to create twelve secret underground bunkers. Lone scientists would live deep beneath the surface of the earth, to ensure these habitats would be ever-prepared for the select few who would, in time, come to populate them. A scientist named Roy maintains the fourth underground bunker: Plethura. Roy is a social outcast and is clearly disillusioned by the fate of mankind. He appears to be the ideal candidate for the solitary day to day existence of living in the bunker, but things take a dramatic turn when he becomes prematurely isolated - locking him inside the bunker as its sole resident. With all communication from 'Up Top' lost and no knowledge of what happened, Roy must come to terms with the harrowing fact that he is all alone... and nobody is coming for him. As time passes, the claustrophobic walls of the bunker slowly tighten their grip on Roy, and strange and unexplainable events soon begin to materialise. Roy becomes more and more paranoid by the second, and only has the bunker's intelligent computer console named Arthur for company. Roy begins to question his own reality, but also the more alarming prospect that he may not be alone in the bunker. Could it be Roy's mind playing tricks? Or is a malevolent force stalking him within these walls? With no hope of escape and nowhere to hide, Roy has no choice but to confront the true terror of Plethura. Twenty Twenty-Four is an unsettling nightmare you'll never be sure you've woken up from.

Loved it! It's definitely more of a psychological thriller than anything else though, which is great if you like movies like The Machinist, but then it has a sort of Scifi vibe too, like Moon. I really love 'one man' movies, and I thought the actor in this who plays Roy is outstanding. I very rarely leave reviews or comments online for movies I watch, but this has a cult vibe about it, yet nobody I know has seen it. Great indie movie.
