This movie was lazy & bad. It misuses the mixture of genres as it combines heist and treasure hunt overplaying the double cross trope making all the character unlikable. Undersexualized women only showing off the T Holland making it annoying g*y. Cinematography is poor as it blurs out entire backgrounds to have things of importance stand out but it is throughout the entire movie, resulting in a movie where only one object or person is in focus per scene. Horrendous special effects and action.

They should have stuck with the better original script from the game. As is, it comes across too "halfway" to really hit any targets head on. It feels like they tried too hard and ended up messing up more than whatever they were trying to fix. The unresolved lost/missing brother plot arc is particularly bad. Again, I've seen a lot worse, and I like that so many game movies are starting to be made, but this one will get lost in the shuffle. I hope they redo it with the original script intact.

I think Mark W should have definitely been Nathan Drake. He's built more like him, Mark W can be plenty funny, and he even almost looks like him. And when I think of Nathan Drake, I think of a man who has amassed a body count like you wouldn't believe! If Nathan goes on to do what he did in the games, he will wind up killing well over 1,000 people, lol. I just think it needed some more comedy, or wittyness. The kind that Mark W could have brought to Nathan Drake.
