Ha I almost enjoy reading these reviews as much as watching the movie. Carruth and Seimetz clearly attract the right sort of people. This is a beautiful and haunting film. Buy it - because you'll want to watch it again and again. The narrative is quite simple once you get your head around certain ideas. Miss the basics though and you'll be lost. It's almost worth researching some of the meanings because then you'll get more out of it. I'm not surprised to learn Carruth was a software engineer. The concept of a simple set of rules yielding an almost infinite complexity seems to be a theme that link both of his films. Even if you don't understand what's going on, the film is a beautiful work of art that can be completely enjoyed in absence of any comprehension. Every tiny scene and shot fills me up with so much wonder. I cannot wait for more. And hope the puzzle-like narrative appears again.

You gotta be pretentious to enjoy this flick but if you're as good at it as ME you'll be set. So all you movie plebs stay away.
